Accommodation - FAQs

Q - Can I book my accommodation through PPL?

A - Yes, we can handle reservations just call us and we will do the rest. Payment is made direct to the guest house / hotel though.

Q - Will I get any discounts as I am staying for 4/8 weeks?

A - Our recommended Guest Houses will normally give booking discounts for a student staying a number of weeks. Our advice is to ring the guest house direct and just haggle.

Q - What about car parking?

A - We have secure car parking at all of our three training centres in York. All of the recommended guest houses have parking.  PPL is just a short walk away from the City centre and local accommodation providers.

Q - Do you include accommodation in your course fees?

A - No, we let you decide where and what type of accommodation you require.

Q - Is there a later start time on a Monday so I can travel up in the morning?

A - Yes, for most courses we start at 10am on a Monday, but check with the course information page.

Q - I am a service leaver (armed forces) do you provide resettlement pages?

A - Yes, please call us on 0845 2600 966 (Outside UK +44 1904 870470) so we can discuss your individual requirements.

Q - I am interested in car sharing with another student from my local area.

A - You can contact us and we will pass your details onto students from the same area who are on your course.
