Green Deal PAS 2030

Express Route to Green Deal PAS 2030 Certification

PPL Training is now offering customers the opportunity to ‘fast track’ to Green Deal PAS 2030 accreditation through a new ‘Green Deal Express Route to Certificationscheme .

Working with NICEIC, the scheme cuts up to 6 months off of the normal Green Deal certification process, meaning customers could become active Green Deal Installers in a much quicker time.

The new Express Route to PAS 2030 Certification is an addition to PPL’s ‘Easy Green Deal PAS 2030 Quality Management training course’ (click here for details) and involves candidates visiting an PAS 2030 Assessment Day as well as having one of their first installation jobs examined and passed by an NICEIC Assessor.

Nick Wright, Green Deal Project Manager at NICEIC said, “The NICEIC’s new approach to certification helps contractors take advantage of the opportunities in Green Deal and the Energy Company Obligation. Contractors can benefit from a faster and more streamlined process to attain their PAS 2030 certification and makes these opportunities more accessible for contractors of all sizes and backgrounds.”

James Booth, Managing Director of PPL Training added, “This move will be of great benefit to PPL customers, both past and new, who will now be able to become Green Deal PAS 2030 fully certified in a minimal time frame. “We have witnessed a large number of skilled electricians, plumbers, heating and gas engineers come to PPL over the past 12 months for their Green Deal training needs; and now we have teamed up with NICEIC we feel we can offer a much better proposition for installers looking at getting involved in The Green Deal.’

If you have already taken a PAS 2030 course with PPL, you can still benefit from the ‘Green Deal Express Route to Certification‘ fast track option by attending attending one of PPL’s PAS 2030 Assessment Days.

The first planned dates for the fast track Assessment Days are in York on 27th September and  29th October (click here for address) .
