Bpec Gas Foundation Course

Bpec Gas Foundation course overview:

This course is designed for existing plumbers with no gas experience (Category 2/3) to gain the necessary skills and experience in gas in order to satisfy the entrance requirements for the ACS gas entry examinations and then apply for personal CORGI Gas registration.

 The structured program over 30 weeks provides the 'off-site' training that a candidate is required to successfully complete in order to qualify to undertake ACS gas assessment at a BPEC Certification Ltd approved centre. The student will attend the training centre 1 day a week (normally a Friday) to be trained and assessed for the Bpec Gas Foundation qualification.

Bpec Gas Foundation theory overview:

Applicants for this course must be able to demonstrate that they have previous plumbing qualifications and/or gas experience AND have a CORGI registered gas engineer to work with on a regular basis.
The recommended route for new entrants is to complete the City and Guilds 6129 level 2 (8 Weeks) then after suitable employed plumbing and gas work experience (minimum of 3 months) then enrol on the Bpec Gas Foundation course.

This course runs twice a year with a maximum of 6 students .
