Bpec Ground Source Heat Pumps course (GSHP) Overview Bpec Ground Source Heat Pumps course (GSHP) Theory Overview Bpec Ground Source Heat Pumps course (GSHP) Practical Overview Bpec Ground Source Heat Pumps course (GSHP) FAQs

Ground source heat pumps provide a new and clean way of heating buildings. They make use of renewable heat energy stored in the ground and provide one of the most energy-efficient ways of heating buildings.  This ground source heat pump installers course has been approved by the Ground Source Heat Pumps association for operatives within the plumbing, heating and renewable industries, to gain the required skills to design, install and commission ground source heat pump (GSHP) systems.

It is not intended for people with little or no prior plumbing knowledge.  We strongly recommend that people attending this course also have Part L Energy Efficiency, Unvented Hot Water and Water Regulations certificates.  As GSHP technology works in tandem with underfloor heating systems, the Bpec Underfloor Heating courses may also be considered.

GSHP use refrigeration technology, therefore we advise persons involved with the servicing of such units to consider taking the 2 day City & Guilds 2078 Handling Refrigerants course to comply with current legal requirements.
