Who should attend?
This course is aimed at delegates with little or no experience of electrical work wishing to take the first steps into the electrical industry. It is designed as an introduction to electricity before embarking on the official qualifications such as 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. 

On completion of the course you will be able to:
  • Safely isolate an electrical supply in accordance with HSE (G) 85
  • Select and check test equipment in accordance with HSE (GS) 38
  • Prove for a voltage in accordance with HSE (GS) 38
  • Recognise the requirements of BS 7671  with regards to electrical testing
