New Entrant Foundation Course Overview

This course will provide delegates with an understanding of the basic principles of electricity and its uses.  The course emphasises the hazards of electricity and the procedures to be adopted in carrying out safe isolation of electrical circuits.  In addition, it will provide delegates with an understanding of the statutory requirements when constructing, maintaing and operating electrical systems.

     

This 5-day course is aimed at delegates with little or no experience of electrical work or basic principles wishing to take the first steps in the electrical industry and covers both practical and theory elements.  It is designed as an introduction to electricity before embarking on the official qualifications such as Part P and 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
