New Entrant Domestic Green Deal Advisor (Assessor) Combined Course:
The new Green Deal offers a huge potential for both existing industry members (Energy Assessors and installers) and new entrants from other backgrounds - for those installing the Green Deal measures and assessing a property's suitability for the Green Deal. The course combines both a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and Domestic Green Deal Assessor - thus giving earning potentials in both disciplines.

PPL is working with a number of Green Deal Providers including Toriga, Insta Group and Climate Energy to offer our customers a complete Green Deal pathway from initial training through to registration and Green Deal Provider partnership.
PPL has created a package of accredited training courses and qualifications to meet the up skilling demands of new entrant Domestic Green Deal Advisor from non-related industry background.
The course takes 2 weeks to complete and can be taken in weekly blocks, subject to availability.
Who should attend?
The course is aimed at people wishing to retrain to become Domestic Green Deal Assessors and is specifically aimed at persons from a non-construction / trade background. Beware of other training providers ‘fast track’ courses as these will not be able to deliver the detailed underpinning knowledge and practical experience required.
What’s covered?
City & Guilds 6361 Certificate for Domestic Energy Assessing (Level 3) (6 days)
Important note:
The new entrant Green Deal Domestic Advisors course requires candidates to visit 5 different property types and complete an Energy Performance Assessment for each of them. On other training courses this is a lengthy additional task which must be performed. PPL include access to all 5 properties DURING the course, so candidates portfolios are complete and ready for final validation and certification - saving potentially weeks of time in finding, assessing and portfolio building.
