City & Guilds Accredited Disinfection of Hot and Cold Water Systems (York)

This City & Guilds Accredited course is designed for supervisors and operatives who need the understanding of using chlorine and silver hydrogen peroxide to disinfect hot and cold water systems.

The purpose of the course is to provide participants with the technical and practical information and knowledge for them to safely disinfect a water system in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice and Guidance Document (L8) - Legionnaires’ Disease – The control of Legionella Bacteria in water systems and BS 6700 – Specification for the design, installation, testing and maintenance of services supplying water for domestic use within buildings and their curtilages.

Each delegate will be issued with an attendance certificate at the end of the course and a City & Guilds / PPL Training certificate of achievement once they successfully complete the written assessment.
