A City & Guilds accredited course designed for the person identified within a hospital organisation as being the nominated ‘Responsible Person’ or ‘Deputy to Responsible Person’ for control of the legionella bacteria within water systems.

Objectives and aims of the course

To provide attendees with the necessary information to enable them to understand the duties and responsibilities of the nominated ‘responsible person’ and their ‘deputy’ for the supervision, effective implementation and management of legionella risk assessments, remedial work and management of Water Systems within their buildings to comply with Health Technical Memorandum 0401.

Duration

A one day course, beginning at 09.00 and finishing at 16.30.

This course ends with a PPL Training written assessment.

Each delegate will be issued with an attendance certificate at the end of the course and a City & Guilds Accredited / PPL Training certificate of achievement once they successfully complete the written assessment.
