Delegates will be required to demonstrate an understanding of electrical safety proceduces and competence in the use of relevant equipment.


Who Is This Course For:
This course has been developed to multi-skill existing operatives, enabling them to undertake a wider range of duties, including electrical maintenance through an extended understanding of electrical safety.

  • Electrical isolation, testing and proving safe
  • Identification, isolation and reporting of unsafe installations
  • Safe working practices, including:
  • Light diffuser
  • Lamp replacement
  • Fault appliances
  • Correct choice and use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

York Head Office Training Facilities

Our head office is conveniently based at York Business Park, on the outskirts of York city centre, easily accessible by car (with direct links to the M1/A1/A59/A64) or public transport (less than 4 miles away from York railway station). 
This well-established training centre accommodates a number of practical assessment areas for a highly interactive and participative training experience, alongside comfortable classrooms.

Slough Training Facilities

To meet training demand across the UK, we have successfully extended our course offer and consultancy service to a new training facility in Slough. This is ideally situated on Slough Trading Estate, with Central London and Heathrow both less than 20 minutes away. This modern training facility covers 15,000 square feet, including 7,000 square feet of practical assessment training space, which is filled with the latest specialist equipment and technologies.
