This course is currently being developed by NICEIC who are using PPL as their pilot centre for course development and training.
It is expected to be officially released by January 2009
It will be aimed at current full scope qualified electricians wishing to gain further skills in the design, installation, commissioning of Solar PV systems. A mandatory prerequisite for this course is likely to be a nationally recognised working at heights qualification such as NICEIC Working at Heights, although other alternative qualifications will also be recognised.
