This 1 day Bpec Above Ground Drainage course provides plumbers and heating engineers with a Bpec accredited qualification to design and install above ground sanitary pipework systems in domestic properties.

Aimed at current plumbers and heating engineers, the course covers the following modules:

  • Legislation and key installation requirements of above ground sanitation systems
  • Types of above ground sanitation pipework system and key system design features
  • Using self sealing valves as an alternative to traps
  • Specialist appliances (macerator WCs & sink waste disposal units)
  • Commissioning above ground sanitary pipework systems
  • Rainwater system design and installation

A course manual is provided for self-study prior to attending the course.  The assessment consists of an open-book examination, and you are notified of your results prior to leaving the training centre.
