Back to Plumbing Courses
This course is aimed at two groups of people; those who wish to gain addition DIY plumbing skills and those considering a career in plumbing but would like to 'have a go', before committing to a longer course. There are no previous plumbing experience requirements to attend this course - just a willingness to learn and a good sense of humour
The course starts with an introduction session and covers some basic plumbing theory in the classroom. It quickly moves into the workshop where you will be taught about pipework, fittings, soldering, bending and some basic appliance assembly.

Our training groups are small with an experienced plumbing course tutor with up to 5 students. They will show you a task and let you have a go, simple!
The course provides DIY enthusiasts the chance to gain new plumbing skills they can use for their own projects or family and friends. The course is not aimed at those wanting to go straight away into being a plumber. For this we recommend the City & Guilds 6129 with LOGIC and City & Guilds 6089 NVQ in Plumbing. Although the introductory course is a good foundation for moving onto these courses.
This course is run at the weekend with a start at 10am on both Saturday and Sunday. It finishes about 4pm each day. There is a free buffet lunch provided.
