Bpec Heat Pumps course Overview Bpec Heat Pumps course Theory Overview Bpec Heat Pumps course Practical Overview Bpec Heat Pumps course FAQs

Heat pumps provide a new and clean way of heating buildings.  They provide one of the most energy-efficient ways of heating buildings.  This ground source and air source heat pump installers course has been approved by the Ground Source Heat Pumps association for operatives within the plumbing, heating and renewable industries, to gain the required skills to design, install and commission grround source and air source heat pump systems.

This course is not intended for people with little or no prior plumbing knowledge.  A certificate held in Unvented Hot Water Systems is a mandatory requirement to take this course, however, we strongly recommend that people attending this course also have Part L Energy Efficiency and Water Regulations certificates.  As heat pump technology works in tandem with underfloor heating systems, the Bpec Underfloor Heating courses may also be considered.

Heat pumps use refrigeration technology, therefore we advise persons involved with the servicing of such units to consider taking the 2 day City & Guilds 2078 Handling Refrigerants course to comply with current legal requirements.
