Solar PV - Fastest Growing Renewable Energy Installation

As predicted, figures have now been officially released by Ofgem showing that UK installations of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels is now the fastest growing renewable energy installation and has "overtaken any other renewable energy source".

The numbers of these installations has been measured since the introduction of the Government's Feed-In Tariff scheme (FiT) in April 2010.  Comments have also been raised on how this growth could increase further if the UK FiT prices were even more comparative with Germany and the US.
