Renewable Heat Incentives confirmed for June 2011

PPL are delighted to confirm today, the Chancellor has announced in his Spending Review, that Renewable Heat Incentives are to be launched in June 2011.

This further strengthens the Government's commitment towards their ambition of ensuring 12% of all heat generated is to be from a renewable energy source by 2020.

James Booth, Managing Director of PPL, says "I am delighted with the news about the confirmed launch of the RHI next year.  With so many Government cuts just recently, we are really pleased that Renewable Energy is still high on the agenda and we will continue to support this through our Renewable Energy Training Courses."
