The Solar Trade Association Ltd. (STA) was formed in 1978 as a trade body for companies and organisations with an interest in the solar energy industry.  Its activities include thermal applications, for example, the production of household or industrial hot water and the heating of swimming pools by solar hot water generated systems.  Continually updated with the latest in renewable technologies, legislation and standards, the STA promote the uptake of renewable energy technologies in the home and in businesses and provides a direct link between its members and prospective customers. 

Not only proud members of the Solar Trade Associtaion, PPL Training Ltd have also sponsored the STA annual conferences for the past two years. 

2008 marked the 30th Anniversary of the STA and PPL Training Limited were delighted to sponsor their 30th birthday bash at the Houses of Parliament in June 2008.
