About our Electrical Training Courses

At PPL, we offer a full range of electrical training courses for people wishing to extend the scope of their current trade and for qualified electricians looking to gain further qualifications.  Our electrical courses include Bpec Defined Scope Part P, Bpec Full Scope Part P course, City & Guilds 2377 Portable appliance testing, City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition wiring regulations (update and full), PPL Pre-part P Foundation Electrical course and PPL BS5266 Emergency Lighting training course

Our modern electrical training centre has over 3,500 sq feet of electrical training classrooms and practical theory rooms.  The centre provides ample parking, free refreshments, internet connections and self-study areas.

All of our electrical training staff have over 25 years in the electric industry and training experience.  The majority of electrical training courses are a combination of theory and practical sessions.  All reference materials, tools and testing equipment are provided to the electrical course student to use while on the electrical training course.  We also sell a wide variety of electrical course books and electrical testing equipment at trade prices, please see our online shop for more details.

For those looking to move into the electrical field from their current trade we offer electrical courses such as the PPL Pre-Part P Foundation electrical training course, Bpec Part P course (Defined Scope), Bpec Part P Course (Full Scope), City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (Full) and City & Guilds 2377 Portable Appliance Testing.

Experienced electrical engineers already within the industry may take courses such as City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition Wiring Regulations course (Upgrade) , Bpec Full Scope Part P course, City & Guilds 2377 Portable appliance testing (PAT Testing course).
