Legionella Training Courses from PPL...

Here at PPL Training we provide high quality Legionella control training courses within building systems and for the facility management industry. Our Legionella training courses are designed for anyone who is, or is about to be, involved in the control and management of legionella bacteria. Each one of our Legionella Training courses is accredited either by City and Guilds or Bpec.

Legionella is common in many environments, with at least 50 species and 70 serogroups identified. The side-chains of the cell wall carry the bases responsible for the somatic antigen specificity of these organisms. The chemical composition of these side chains both with respect to components as well as arrangement of the different sugars determines the nature of the somatic or O antigen determinants, which are essential means of serologically classifying many Gram-negative bacteria.

It is our mission to deliver a first class learning experience for all delegates whether delivered at our training centre or a bespoke event. As well as Legionella Training Courses, we also have training courses for Health & Safety, Mechanical Electrical Services and Electrical Training.
