The Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) Scheme is one of a number of funded schemes that PPL Training are registered to provide skills training. Set up by the Ministry of Defence, the intention of the ELC Scheme is to help serving personnel, such as those in the armed forces or civil service, acquire key skills that will help them develop in their current serving role or to retrain for a future career. The Scheme gives its beneficiaries access to higher-level learning, recognised as being Level Three or higher on the National Qualifications Framework and Level Six or higher on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework.
This is lifelong learning; available to those still serving and to those who have served in the past. Candidates can claim up to eighty per cent of their retraining costs through the ELC Scheme, which can be as much as £6000. PPL Training are dedicated towards helping people from all backgrounds develop as professionals and learn skills, and we are delighted to meet servicemen and women embarking upon exciting new careers.
