This City & Guilds course has been developed to provide existing or past* CITB CAT 1 (J11) certificate holders with a full City & Guilds 2079 Category 1 Qualification. The course would include some refresher training (to bridge the uplift between CITB and C&G) and a full City & Guilds 2079 CAT 1 assessment. With this refresher Category 1 certificate holders will be able to carry out all F-Gas related activities. * Providing the CITB certificate expired 6 months or less from your chosen course date.
Who is This Course For?
This is aimed at those with the expired CITB CAT 1 J11 qualification who currently work within the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry who need to meet the legal requirements for working with fluorinated gases (F-Gases), and other ozone depleting substances.

Prior to attending this course we recommend you have completed the following or their equivalent and possess:
F-Gas (Category 1) | City & Guilds 2079-11
Equivalent to F-Gas 2079-11 Category 1 course.
Photographic ID - This can be in the form of: Passport, Driving Licence, CSCS Card, Work ID Card, Trade Union Card, Proof of Age Card
Certificate - An existing copy of your CITB J11 Certificate (valid within past 6 months)
