The Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM) was founded in 1943 as an International Professional Engineering Institute (a specialist Institute for the Healthcare Estates Sector). IHEEM's primary purpose, as a professional development organisation, is to keep members up to date with developing technology and changing regulations, and various types of membership are available. As IHEEM Knowledge Partners since 2021, Our Mechanical and Electrical Safe Systems of Work training courses have provided high quality development opportunities for Authorised and Competent Persons in-line with HTM guidance.

For over 25 years the Health Estates and Facilities Management Association (HEFMA) has been representing estates and facilities management within the NHS across England. With close working links to NHS England and NHS Improvement, the association provides us with a platform to connect with the HEFMA membership, many of whom are responsible for the day-to-day operation of all hospitals within an NHS Trust. As regular sponsors of HEFMA awards, and supporters of the HEFMA Leadership Forum, we continue to provide training for the association’s members.

The Association of University Engineers was formed in 1970 and today has representation from over 100 universities throughout the UK and Eire. The AUE’s members are "suitably qualified engineers responsible for installation, operation, maintenance or design of engineering services in a University… and should have a minimum professional qualification of Eng.Tech, approved by the Engineering Council". SafetyOn is the health and safety organisation for the onshore wind sector. Providing leadership in health and safety for the dynamic and innovative onshore wind industry, SafetyOn reports on performance in key H&S performance indicators and nurtures relationships between member organisations to mitigate emerging risks within the onshore wind sector. We recently joined SafetyOn as Tier 2 members and will support the institute with our attendance at SafetyOn’s events and conferences in the coming months.

BSRIA is a non-profit distributing member-based association promoting knowledge and providing specialist services for construction and building services stakeholders. By improving access to research and information, BSRIA continues to ‘Make Buildings Better’. Having been around for over 65 years, BSRIA continue their focus on making buildings greener, healthier and providing wellbeing support for their members. Our membership of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers forms part of our affiliate strategy, which aims to bring our training managers and teams of tutors up-to-date information on regulations, legislation and guidance updates. As Affiliate Members of IFSM, we are listed on the IFSM website, where members can also access on-demand webinars, British Standard documents and Technical Hub. We are excited to work even more closely with the IFSM in the near future to improve our own training courses and supplement the knowledge of our training staff.
