Course Overview
Please note: This course is 4 days in total, 3 days theory based learning within PPL Training Centre and 1 day bespoke on-site AP familiarisation visit.

This course is based around current legislation covering the management of Lifts, including the Lift Regulations 2016, PUWER, LOLER, British Standards, SAFED guidance notes, HTM 08-02 and other relevant current legislation such as European and British Standards.

The 3 days of theory based learning are based within PPL Training Centre commencing on the specified start date, covering the requirements to manage the servicing, maintenance and inspection requirements of all lifts generically, with a bespoke on-site AP familiarisation visit on the 4th day, tailored to specific site equipment, taking place within 2 weeks of the in centre course.

On-site familiarisation visit also includes Passenger Release Training for up to 4 personnel.

NOTE: On-site element will be booked during the In Centre course delivery and will normally be within the two weeks following respective course.
Who is This Course For?
Personnel appointed to manage lifts in the healthcare sector with a thorough understanding of current legislation, regulations, roles and responsibilities and who should undertake these. In addition, the course covers the inspections and examinations required for lifts, as well as the safety examinations required of electrical and mechanical items.
