Travel Update: Road Closures in Slough 21st – 29th October 2023

Important Information for All Slough Delegates

PPL Training have been informed of 3rd party road works happening in Slough, in and around the Slough Trading Estate, which will directly impact access to our Malton Avenue and/or Buckingham Avenue and/or Bedford Avenue centres.

We received the following notice(s) from the contractors undertaking the works:

RE: Expansion of the euNetworks Network

Please be advised that JSM Construction will be carrying out Telecom Works on Malton Avenue, junction of Berwick Avenue, Slough between 21st - 29th October 2023. This work is being carried out with the permission of the Local Authority’s Highway Department and the Traffic Police and is in strict accordance with the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991.

Please be advised that JSM Construction will be carrying out Telecom Works on Leigh Road (Opposite 40 Liverpool Road), Slough between 21st - 29th October 2023. This work is being carried out with the permission of the Local Authority’s Highway Department and the Traffic Police and is in strict accordance with the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991.

JSM Construction Further State:

We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience that these essential works may cause, and I
can assure you that we will endeavour to keep disruption to the absolute minimum, whilst passing your
property as quickly as possible.

Since our inception euNetworks has been granted numerous awards by local authorities for consideration and care in contracting.

What Does This Mean for Our Delegates?

These works will predominantly affect access to our Malton Avenue centre, however, because of their proximity to the Premier Inn that some of our delegates often utilise you may experience disruption when attending our other training centres in Slough.

PPL Training can only apologise for any inconvenience caused by these works and suggest that all delegates attending courses in Slough between 21st October and 29th October 2023 please check travel times in advance and make use of the diversions in place to lessen the impact that these road closures may have.
